Daydream is a deeply symbolic work exploring themes of masculinity and sexual insecurity. Set against a textured white background, the painting incorporates found objects, text, and layered imagery. The word “por que” (“why” in Spanish) appears subtly, inviting reflection. A ruler hints at anxieties around male sexual identity, while a blurred photograph of a female figure and an abstract form suggest vulnerability, desire, and the complexities of sexual perception. Scratches and layered marks on the surface emphasize the tension and fragility inherent in these themes.
